Registration and auditions are held on the first rehearsal, Tuesday, September 11 at 3:30 pm at the PCSS Band Room.

Registration

Registration for the Creston Children's Choir is open to all children who love to sing or would like to learn more about singing through the choir experience.  The only requirements for becoming a member are the ability to maintain a steady beat and to sing on pitch.  These are aptitudes which develop in children at different ages.  If a child does not demonstrate these basic music skills at the audition, training sessions are suggested to develop these skills.

Fee

Annual fee is $125/student or $250/family

Audition Format

• The audition interview is approximately ten minutes and is designed to be a friendly, positive experience for all participants.  The parent is encouraged to be part of the interview.  At the interview you will meet with the music director, Anita Stushnoff.  She will ask you to echo-sing some melodies and to clap some rhythms.

  Please prepare a song to sing as a solo . . . you do not need to have accompaniment.  Or you may choose to sing Happy Birthday or Oh Canada.
