Vision Statement

Creston Children’s Choir is a joint partnership between the singers, their families, the Board of Directors, musical directors and the community in which they belong. As such, our vision is to

• enrich children’s development through musical training, performance, and community service. 

• pursue standards of choral excellence in both sacred and secular repertoire

• build community within the choir encouraging friendship, respect, and pride in the Creston community

• foster partnerships to build and sustain the choir financially and musically

• cultivate accountability amongst the choir membership

Performance Opportunities

• The Creston Children's Choir has many opportunities to entertain in the Creston community.  They are regular guests at concerts with the Blossom Valley Singers adult choir, both at Christmas and in spring.

• The choir performs at Focus on Youth events, and is available to entertain at local schools.

• Last spring, the choir performed at Silverwood, in conjunction with the Bonners' Ferry Children's Choir.

Making Communities

Creston Children's Choir fills the ever widening gap in music education in Canada. As more and more programs are being cut, the choir offers children artistic excellence and character building experiences and leadership opportunities.
